Nyngan Riverside Tourist Park caters for several day & evening events including birthday parties, christenings, Christmas parties, staff functions and weddings, all which can be held in our function room.

The function room seats up to 100 people and located right on the river. Located in the function room is:

  • Cooking facilities, including a large gas oven
  • Fridges
  • Washing up facilities
  • Microwave, kettle, toaster
  • Free Gas BBQ
  • Toilet
  • 30 Chairs in addition to chairs already in the function room

**We do not provide cutlery or crockery**

Hire of the function room is Free if more than 5 cabins are booked for the event. If no cabins are booked the cost of hire of the function room is $200.

All music must be off and noise kept to a minimum after 11pm as we need to consider other guests that are staying in the park.

We are open to and encourage local businesses and community groups to utilize the function room for their functions, activities and conferences.


We can confidently say that we are Nyngan’s number one wedding & reception venue, catering for weddings of all sizes. On average we have up to 10 weddings per year ranging from guest number of 20 people to 250 people. For smaller weddings people choose to use the function room for the wedding reception, however, for larger weddings, a marquee is much more suitable.

Majority of the wedding ceremonies are also held at the park, and the location of the ceremony is completely your choice.

We charge a venue hire of $500, to cover cleaning and the work that goes into getting the park ready for the weddings.
