We travelled through Victoria, along The Great Ocean Road through The Grampions and on to Mildura. Then it was up to Broken Hill, all the way stopping in lonely motel rooms. Nyngan was to be our last night before reaching home (Newcastle). What a great spot. Stopped for one night, stayed two. The cabin was better than a lot of motels rooms. Thank you BOB & ANNE. The friendliness, the animals and the river.
A GREAT RECIPE FOR A RELAXING BREAK.

I just love this caravan park !!!! This morning sitting around the fire by the peaceful Bogan river i counted 30 different bird species! It is a must for any bird lovers & you can get a list of the birds sighted around the park (108 ) at the office .
I travel for 8 months each year all around NSW & QLD & this is still one of my top parks to stay ( always staying longer then i expected !)
It is clean & tidy, spacious & the owners Bob & Anne are very helpful. Also Dino the dog will play footy with you.
By the way they were catching yellow belly while i was here.
The town is a friendly little town & just a short walk over the bridge.
All in all it’s a great spot to stop & take a break from your travels.

Kangaroo Island
We had a great time in such a lovely park. We camped down by the river and the grounds were lovely and green. Enjoyed plenty of water skiing and a great camp oven dinner in the fire pit at night. Unfortunately the weather turned bad and owners couldn’t be more helpful and we ended up with a beautiful cabin. We will definately be back.

A big thank you to Jack, Dione & family, Anita & staff for the perfect venue to hold the Australian CamperTrailers Groups 5th national meet were we were able to fit 90 camper trailers onto the lush riverflat.
Thank you also for the preparation before our arrival adding extra water & power outlets as well as the new amenities block making sure everyone had an enjoyable stay over the week long event.
The drafthorse drawn wagon & boat rides on the Bogan were a great hit with both young & old.
You have done wonders with the park in a short time. I’m sure the Riverview Caravan Park will become a place to drop in for more than an overnight stay on your way through, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Bogan River.
It was hard to pack up & leave.

To all the great friendly staff the friends we met,we travelled from Wyee NSW,also for the camper trailer meet.Arrived at Riverside to stay 3 weeks stayed 4.We had the best time at Nyngan so peaceful at the caravan park,all the animals,the river,the beautiful green grass,sitting around the fire at night and the lovley people in the town centre.We fell in love with riverside caravan park all the staff even the dunnie paper man were great, realy friendly and helpful.
During our stay we met many a traveller most planned for an over night stop and stayed longer.
We will be returning to the park September or October 2010,to catch up with everyone and have some R & R.
